Plug - Heat Exchanger Zinc Current Short Dual Port

Zinc used in heat exchanger for newer/current Peninsular engines, or engines produced from Model Year 2000 and up. This is a shorter zinc for heat exchangers containing two zinc ports, one on the top, and one immediately on the bottom inline with the top zinc port. Both zinc units are in the salt-water portion and are shorter to prevent break-off and still provide adequate zinc protection. The bottom zinc port is dual purpose in that it serves for a salt-water drain for winterization which allows for inspection of zinc at end and beginning of season. These are the replacement zinc for the units found in our OEM replacement heat exchangers.
